Review by Eric Tansey, CSW                                                                                                                 Moderate aromas of raspberry, black cherry, chalk, crushed seashells. This wine is red in color and translucent, almost like it could be a Pinot Noir. As you would expect from the color, the wine has a medium body mouth feel with terroir-driven taste characteristics. Up front, soft cherry and cola fades to more earthy qualities like dusty dirt road and crushed seashells. The medium-plus acidity and tannin really hold the wine together, giving backbone and a little “umph” to this medium bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a great food pairing wine and a great summertime wine that could easily be served slightly chilled. The grapes are all farmed using sustainable farming practices. Cheers!

What is Sustainable Farming? Sustainable farming simply means, farming practices that will allow the land to be farmed without causing damage to the eco-system and the community around it while minimizing the carbon footprint, so that the environment in its entirety will be preserved or even improved.
